Yes, all of our elite, high quality hair products are premium virgin human hair from around the world.

How is the hair prepared?
We sterilize the hair in a moisturizing (non-drying) antibacterial solution. The hair is then washed and conditioned in an all organic treatment, allow it to air dry and inspect every bundle for manufacturing error. We make sure the outer layer of the hairs – the cuticles – lay flat and flow in the same direction as the natural scalp. This prevents tangles and lets the hair lay flat and maintain its natural sheen for a long time.

Can I color my Electric Cherry Virgin Hair product?
Yes, our virgin hair products are easy to dye. We also offer custom colors on request for an additional charge. Double-processing specialty colors are also available. We can only offer these color orders by phone or in person, and they take an additional 2-3 days to process. Regular custom colors cost $25, and double-process bundles cost $35 per bundle.

Does Electric Cherry hair products require special care or products?
No. However, we recommend washing the products with sulfate and paraben-free moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. It is a good idea to condition once a month with a protein treatment, since the hair products are not receiving nutrients from the scalp. Follow this with a deep moisturizing conditioner so the hair does not become dry or brittle. Let the hair air dry after washing. Occasional heat-setting the hair is acceptable. No oil is needed for the hair care. If desired, you may use a light oil such as coconut, argan or macadamia oil.

Can I safely cut the weft of the hair product?
Yes, you can but it is not recommended. Cutting the weft may impair the manageability of the hair product. If the weft much be cut, advise your stylist to seal the weft to help prevent unnecessary shedding. You can purchase weft sealers on our beauty supply page.

How much hair do I need to buy?
For a half head of hair or shorter lengths, please order at least two (2) of our 3.8-ounce bundles, for other.

For a full head of hair please order at least three (3) depending on desired fullness. Please keep in mind that our hair is sold by weight, therefore it’s ideal to order more bundles when purchasing longer lengths above 20″. Less hair is required when using a frontal or closure unit with your installation.

Big hair lovers please order 1(one) to 2 (two) additional bundles to create your desired fullness.

How long will my Electric Cherry hair last?
Our elite-quality virgin hair products are designed to be long-lasting for the best value in the business. Your hair products are guaranteed to last at least two years with proper care and handing.

How quickly will I receive my Electric Cherry hair?
Once you place your hair order, please allow at least one business day for us to clean and process your virgin hair product before we ship it to you. If you have selected free Standard Shipping, your order will ship via USPS and arrive on your doorstep 2-5 days after purchase. Ground shipping orders and Priority Shipping travel via UPS or equivalent. Ground shipping arrives 3-5 days from the shipment date, and Priority shipping is delivered within 1-3 days after the shipment date. Remember that color processed orders can take several extra days to process before shipment. For non-stock or specialty items, this may add from 5 to 7 days before your order is ready to ship. Does Electric Cherry offer overnight shipping?
Yes, we offer overnight shipping on express standard orders placed by 3:00 p.m. EST. These orders will be mailed the same day via USPS Express Mail/Fedex and should be delivered in 1-2 business days. Please note that non-stock and specialty items take 5-7 days for processing before they are ready for shipping. Overnight and expedited shipping applies only to stock, non-specialty items in your order.

Does Electric Cherry ship overseas?
Yes, we ship our virgin hair products internationally. Free shipping is not available on international orders. Customers are responsible for all customs and import fees in addition to shipping fees. Shipping rates vary by delivery location. These will be calculated at the time of purchase.

Can I return my items if I am not satisfied?
Electric Cherry Virgin Hair offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We will refund your purchase price within 3 days of delivery. We will exchange your product within 7 days of your date of purchase. All items must be returned to us in their original condition and packaging. We will not issue refunds or exchanges for hair that has been installed or altered. Please review all hair purchases immediately upon receipt and contact us immediately if you need to return or exchange any item. We will contact you by email or phone within 24-48 hours once we have received your returned package or exchange package.

Does Electric Cherry offer any discounts?
We currently offer a 10% discount for purchases by licensed hair stylists/cosmetologists, students, and active members of the military. You will need to provide a clear image of your professional license, military or school ID and your state-issued ID prior to making a purchase. Additional Notes (Please read):
We only sell high-grade100% pure virgin human hair. Our natural color (unprocessed) hair can be dyed any color you desire. Each bundle comes from one donor. Our hair is non-chemical processed, tangle free, single drawn, well-constructed reinforced wefts, very few short hairs, minimal to no shedding, and healthy full / thick ends.

Maintaining your hair purchase:
Avoid hair products that may contain alcohol. Do not overuse hair conditioners and dyes, because this may dry out the hair. Please use quality shampoos and conditioners that will provide moisture to your hair. Wash your hair immediately after swimming. When combing your hair please start from the bottom and work your way up the hair shaft. Please do not sleep on the hair while wet.

Curly Hair:
Curly hair can take a bit more upkeep than straight or wavy hair. To maintain the hair please co-wash the hair every 3-5 days, combing/detangling the hair, and allowing it to air dry without any interruption to avoid frizzing. Please order at least order two inches longer than your desired length mark when purchasing curly hair.

Sparkle Wave Hair:
Sparkle wave hair has been steamed rodded to create the wavy style and will slightly lose its wave pattern once washed. Please feel free to recover your style by using a curling iron or wand.

Coloring your extensions:
Please consult with a professional when choosing to dye your hair. It is necessary to deep condition the hair after dying or bleaching to avoid any unnecessary dryness.

Lace closure and Silk Base closures:
Although our closures are made with the best craftsmanship, we advise that you do not pull on your closure too hard. This will disrupt the base of the closure and cause shedding. Do not over-process the base of the closure or you may experience some shedding.
